Lincoln Memorial University, School of Medical Sciences, Assistant Dean and Program Director
(2024-Present)
The Assistant Dean and Program Director reports to the Dean of School of Medical Sciences. The
Assistant Dean and Program Director is responsible for planning, development, implementation,
organization, management, and continuous review and oversite of the Tampa Physician Assistant
Program. The Assistant Dean and the Program Director have direct supervision over the two
Education Directors, Medical Director, and all administrative staff. The Assistant Dean is responsible
for the oversite and planning, developing, and monitoring the Program Budget. The Assistant Dean
Chairs the Steering Committee for the Tampa location and sits on the Dean Council as a voting
member to implement policies and procedures for the School of Medical Sciences.
Key Accomplishments:
Founding Assistant Dean and Program Director of the LMU Tampa Physician Assistant
Program.
Oversite of budget: planning, monitoring, forecasting and evaluation.
Member of the Dean Council.
Implemented, developed, and designed program curriculum.
Overseas Memorandum of Understanding for external and internal stakeholders.
Recruitment and hiring all faculty and staff members to support the Tampa Location.

University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Department of Physician Assistant, Department Chair and
Program Director (2019-2024)
The Department Chair and Program Director reported to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy and
Health Professions. The Department Chair and Program Director had direct supervision over the two
Education Directors, two Medical Directors, and all administrative staff. The primary responsibilities of
the Department Chair was to: articulate the department’s vision and mission; oversee the departments
strategic plan; maintain accreditation for all programs in the department; develop relationships with
industry partners; implement the strategic student outreach and recruitment plan; hire outstanding
faculty and staff; provide opportunities for faculty and staff professional development; develop new
sources for external funding; oversee the retention efforts for the program; and manage the budget.
Key Accomplishments:
Founding Program Director of the UMES Physician Assistant Program.
Oversees all didactic and clinical education of the Department.
Secured successful accreditation by The Accreditation Review Commission on the Education for
the Physician Assistant. Accreditation (ARC-PA).
Oversees and maintains the department and program budget.

Director/Coordinator, (2016-2018)
Supervised the didactic phase of the physician assistant curriculum and course development at the
University of Maryland Baltimore Physician Assistant Program. Oversaw and collaborated with faculty,
adjuncts and staff to maintain compliance with the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for
the Physician Assistant Board (ARC-PA). Served on the Academic Curriculum Development Committee
and the Committee of Progression. Conducted site visits and inspections to ensure clinical curriculum
effectiveness and adherence to maintain compliance with the accreditation review board. Teaching
responsibilities included: Clinical Medicine Series (I-II), Foundations of PA Practice and Research
Seminar (I-II). Other responsibilities included coordinating and facilitating Interprofessional Experiences
(IPE).

Served as a panel subject matter expert to Prometric, a trusted test developer to create national certifying
examination to support the Center for Disease Control Guidelines for prescribing Opioids for chronic
pain among prescribing license health care providers.

Military Health, Physician Assistant, DOCS Health, (Multiple Military Agencies and Institutions,
2023- Present (PRN).
Provides military readiness and treatment and for U.S. active duty, reservist services members of the
Armed Forces. Also, conducts Post Deployment Health Re-Assessments, Periodic Health Assessments,
TBI screenings and mental health evaluations for members of the Armed Forces returning from
deployment. Provides care to all services members nation-wide at local military bases and government
institutions.

Military Health, Physician Assistant, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (U.S. Dept. of
Defense), Springfield, VA, 2018-2022 (PRN).
Provided and supervised required medical examinations for specific work or roles for NGA employees
to include emergency response, occupational health and monitoring and Pre and post deployment
Health. Review and interpret internal and external standard operation procedures and provide NGA
officials with recommendations for best practices.

Provided health care services for civilian employees.
Supervised emergency and urgent medical services.
Travel medicine and vaccine administration.
Executed all military medical medication requirements outlined in DOD Modification.
Military Health, Physician Assistant, The Pentagon (U.S. Dept. of Defense), Arlington, VA, 2011-
2015.
Implemented and operated DiLorenzo Tricare Health Clinic Women’s Health Care Initiative at the
Pentagon. Developed and presented lectures to diverse populations in relation to military health care
policy, regulation, and clinical adherence. Facilitated health promotion and disease prevention through
supervising tobacco cessation classes and other wellness courses along with coordinating patient care
with dietitians, sports therapist, and other wellness providers. Interviewed and initiated treatment for
active-duty service members with traumatic brain injuries, including blast injuries, behavioral health, and
PTSD. Consulted with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, and staff from the TBI clinics at Fort Belvoir and
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Key Accomplishments:

over one hundred hours of PA primary care services to U.S. Armed Force Service Members for the
American Red Cross, in Okinawa, Japan.
Featured on the American Academy of Physician Assistants website (2012) in the “Face and Voice of
the Profession Project” which highlighted my accomplishments of serving as a civilian PA at the U.S.
Pentagon.
