Note: Answer “YES” to the question, 
“Are you interested in being considered

o  Check your FAFSA status online at 
http://fafsa.ed.gov

Check 3-5 days after you file 
o  If selected, complete any required 
verification items by due date 
o
 
The university will email you if selected.

o  Complete and submit the Ohio State 
ATI/CFAES Scholarship Application

via OSU webmail when your award is 
available. If registered for Summer 
2021, you will be awarded late-April. If 
registered for Autumn 2021, you will be 
awarded mid-summer. 
o  Investigate private sources of financial 
aid for college for external scholarships. 
Check with your local community/county 
foundations, local library, local 
businesses and civic organizations, and 
your parent(s) employers. 
o FASTChoice (private loan options): 
Private loans take an average of 3-4 weeks 
to process.
